The Ironclad KONG SDX2WC Waterproof Cut Resistant Oil and Gas Safety Impact Glove is a variation of the original oil and gas industry glove, the Ironclad KONG SDX2. The SDX2 was co-developed by the Oil and Gas Industry Safety Committee, representing ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Chevron, Halliburton, and many other respected industry leaders.

The Ironclad KONG SDX2WC glove provides all-condition grip, featuring a highly abrasion-resistant hi-viz palm that ensures extreme durability. The palm has PVC/PU grip dots for secure grip in all conditions. The additional benefits of this glove include the waterproof breathable membrane, which makes it 100% waterproof, and the CE Cut level "D" / ANSI A5 cut-resistant palm, providing a high level of cut and abrasion protection.

Lightweight and breathable, the glove offers full back-of-hand protection on the fingers, knuckles, and metacarpal bones. Its versatile applications include Oil & Gas Drilling, Extraction & Refining, Fracking, Tool Pushing, Mining, Coil Tubing, Well Servicing, Demolition, Heavy Construction, and Rigging. The glove is EU certified, CE tested and approved, and ANSI tested.

The glove's construction comprises 33% Polyester, 27% Para-Aramid, 20% PU, 13% Nylon, and 6% Glass for the palm, and 30% Nylon, 25% Neoprene, 22% Polyester, 22% PU, and 1% Spandex for the shell. The high-level cut and abrasion protection is provided by the CT5 cut-resistant material covering the entire palm.

The waterproof breathable interior membrane keeps the hands comfortable and dry, while the PVC/PU grip dots on the palm provide ultimate grip, reducing hand fatigue when handling tools and equipment. The glove also offers maximum crush and impact protection coverage on the fingers, thumb, knuckles, and metacarpal bones.

Certified to EN 388: 2016 – 4X43dp, the glove provides ANSI A5 cut resistance and ANSI level 5 abrasion resistance, ensuring superior performance and safety in demanding industrial environments.
